About
Lightyear builds the worlds first solar electric vehicle (SEV) in order to provide clean mobility for everyone, everywhere.

Role
At Lightyear I work as a software engineer on the cloud platform.
Contributions
- Responsible for the telemetry service, providing vehicle data to other applications
- Responsible for the mobile app backend (originally built by an external party)
- Contributed to the identity service, allowing customers to login on all Lightyear platforms and pair their mobile app with the vehicle
- Interviewing engineers and growing the team

In February 2022 GeoPhy was acquired by Walker&Dunlop. Walker&Dunlop provides financing solutions and investment sales to owners of multifamily and commercial real estate.

After the acquisition I took on the role of Tech Lead for our team. Enabling the team to build and grow.

Role
I started at GeoPhy as a data engineer in 2018, then I moved to backend engineering. In 2021 my role expanded to senior software engineer including more responsibilities in architecture, organisation and quality.
