Originally born in Amersfoort I moved to Delft to study architecture. During my Bachelors in Architecture I was especially interested in "robotic" (dynamic structures) architecture and the tools to design this (think parametric design and BIM). To learn more about the application of informatics to the built environment I opted for a Masters in Geomatics. After the discovery of informatics I never considered going back to architecture.

After my studies I worked on personal projects and tried to turn them into a viable business. You can read more about these projects here.

Currently, I work for GeoPhy. We determine the value for any building and with that experience assist appraisers in making valuation reports. I mainly work on backend engineering, databases and APIs to serve the front end.
